May Oral Sharing Schedule
Here are some important oral language tips to remember when you are presenting your oral sharing to your classmates.
*Don't read your notes. Look at your classmates and make eye contact. Glance down at your notes for key ideas, but don't read them.
*Start your oral sharing with a topic sentence. Share some key ideas that support your topic, then give details. End your oral sharing with a conclusion sentence. Your sharing should follow an informational outline format.
*Slow down when you're talking. Speak loud and clear. Don't rush.
*Remember to speak for a minimum of 1 minute. Practice at home to make your time.
*When reciting poetry, use expression. Pretend you are an actor and be expressive. Use gestures if appropriate.

of things would you be doing while on the job? Would you travel? Who would you work with?

May 22 - 26 Topic: Third grade memories
Talk about your third grade year. What accomplishment are you most proud of? What was your
favorite assembly? What was your favorite book or book series? What were your favorite subjects
and why? Did you make any new friends? Use these questions and share any other memories about
this year.
